ABOUT OUR MAPS
Professional cartographers create our maps. The cartographers use bathymetric charts (underwater equivalent to topography) and satellite images to study the area and decide what should be included on the map. The next step is to determine the number of layers that the map should be divided into. Next, they research the points of interest that should make up the additional detail. Each map is highly detailed. Land features include cities, towns, state parks, significant and small thoroughfares, symbols, and even symbols. Water features include depths, islands, and harbors.
